April 27,  2015

We had a great time with Earth Day last week.  We released the salmon behind Fulford Hall and then did some water testing with Cate McEwan.  Students also had a great time playing on the beach when the tide was out.  This week will finalize the roles for Treasure Island and begin practicing in earnest.  On Thursday students will begin a cedar basket project that will last for 3 weeks.  The baskets and weavings will be placed in the forest by the Outdoor Classroom.  Also, on Thursday night we will be having the class sleepover.  I am sending a note home Monday about the event.  It should be lots of fun!  I still need couple of parents to volunteer to do an activity with a group of students.  Let me know if you are interested.
