This Week
We had a good hike last week to Fulford Creek to release the salmon. We have chosen parts for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  We have so many talented and keen students that it was difficult to decide on the major roles, but in the end we found a fair process to do so.  All students have their own script they can use to practice their lines with.  I encourage them to practice at home to make learning the lines easier.  A reminder that swimming lessons start this week on Thursday morning and that students need to bring all their swim stuff.

Subjects
Math: We continue to study perimeter and area and will look at volume.
Reading: Students are enjoying the book, “Old Yeller”.  We are doing both guided and independent reading along with activities.
Writing: Students are engaged in writing poetry.
