This Week
Great news!  The class has decided on a play to perform in June, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. We’ll be reading through the play again this week and discussing how to present it and I’ll be asking the students to think about the parts they would like to play in the performance. I ask students to think carefully about the roles and consider all aspects of doing that part on stage.  I often double cast key roles so that two students can have a chance to perform large parts in the play.   Roles will be chosen next week. On Monday, Chris Smart, a Public Health Nurse will be coming to class to talk to the girls about maturation while I speak to the boys.  Next Monday, we will be walking to Fulford Creek to release our Coho salmon.  If you would like to join us we’ll be leaving at about 10:20.
