This Week
This is the last week before Christmas holidays. The Christmas concert is on Wednesday and Secret Santa is on Thursday. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!
Math: Multiplication begins this week; you can help your child master the basic facts with some practice at home. I have listed a couple of online math sites that help students practice multiplication facts.
Reading: This week we continue Christmas story reading and assessing oral reading.
Writing: We will be writing Santa letters to our kindergarten buddy class.
Social studies: We investigate longitude and latitude by using world and Canada maps.
Art: We continue with Christmas crafts this week.
Recorder: We practice Christmas music.
PE: Monday—jogging and fitness; Tuesday--dance; and Wednesday and Thursday are game days—volleyball continues.
