This week is a very busy one!  On Monday and Tuesday we are getting ready for the camping trip.  By now you should have received the camping supply list with items your child should bring as well as food supplies for each group.  I will be going over the list with the students and I will also send home a reminder note with them on Tuesday.  It's sure to be an exciting and adventurous trip.

On Tuesday morning our class is participating in a live broadcast called ORCA Live.  About one hundred schools in the province will be watching a live stream video of team of scientists who track and research our resident pod of killer whales.  They will give information and we will be able to ask questions through a Twitter feed.  This should be lots of fun and very interesting.  During the rest of the day we will be working with a hiphop dance performance group called Luv 2 Groove.  Each class will practice a hiphop routine and then perform it for the school at 2:15.  We did this last year and we had a great time.  Come see it if you can.
