This is a big week with all the practices and rehearsals for the Wizard of Oz plus 3 performances. I sent a note home on Thursday about the play reminding students to be at school no later than 6:00 on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings and earlier if they have lots of make up or a difficult costume to put on. If you are unable to make an evening performance we are presenting the play to the school at 1:00 on Wednesday. We are sooooo excited about performing the play and know you will really enjoy it!
On Thursday our class along with Mr. MacQueen's are joining other grade 4/5 classes across the district to participate in Aboriginal Day at Burgoyne bay. Students will be grouped in 4s to be with other students from other schools and will go to 4 stations throughout the day that will focus on First Nation activities. Students should bring appropriate clothing and extra drinks and snacks. A salmon lunch will be provided.
