This Week
What a fabulous performance by all the students!  It was great to see all students have an opportunity to shine on stage and enjoy the afterglow of a wonderfully performed play.  I’m sure they will remember it for many years.  On Monday we have a tour on SIMS—we’ll be back in time for the regular school buses.  On Tuesday we’re off to Playland for the day and on Thursday we will visit Robert Bateman’s house for a tour and some art activity.  Another busy week!  A note will come home this week about student-led conferences the last week of school.

Subjects
Math: We are learning all about fractions in the next couple of weeks.
Reading: Some short stories and vocab work.
Writing: Students will complete a final non-fiction story for the year.
Art: Students are learning about Pacific Northwest native art.
PE:  We’ll do some gymnastics for the last few gym periods.
