Nov. 14, 2017

This will be a short, but active week.   Each student will be painting their west coast animal with Johanna Hoskins on Tuesday.  Some of the paintings will be photographed and used as cards to sell at the Christmas Craft Fair and at other times during the year.  The money collected will be used to help fund art projects at the school.  On Thursday Quentin returns to do some carving with the students.

It was an honour to perform the poem "We Shall Keep the Faith" at the Remembrance Day Ceremony at GISS.  The students did a great job presenting the poem in front of a large audience.
